Junior ISA comparison — removed Trading 212 and Freetrade
/junior-isa-comparison-uk/ — The page originally ranked Trading 212 and Freetrade as Junior ISA options. Neither platform offers a Junior ISA. Replaced with six providers that actually offer Junior ISAs (HL, AJ Bell, Vanguard, Fidelity, interactive investor, Beanstalk). Added prominent fact-check banners.
Best Stocks & Shares ISA — corrected fee data
/best-stocks-and-shares-isa-uk-2026/ — The quick comparison table had incorrect fee figures: HL shown as "£24.95/yr flat" (actual is 0.45% on funds), AJ Bell as "£24/yr flat" (actual 0.25%), Vanguard as "0.23%" (actual platform fee is 0.15%; 0.23% is one fund's OCF). All figures corrected against each provider's current published fee schedule.
Best S&S ISA schema author
/best-stocks-and-shares-isa-uk-2026/ — Person schema listed "Zo" (a 15-year-old) as the author of a YMYL financial review. Changed to "IMZA Invest Editorial Team" (Organization). Zo remains credited as the site's co-founder and content tester but not as the schema-declared author of regulated-topic content.
Capital Gains Tax guide expanded
/capital-gains-tax-guide/ — Previous version was ~250 words and too thin for a YMYL topic. Expanded to ~1,100 words with the current 2026/27 CGT rates (18% basic, 24% higher), £3,000 annual exempt amount, Bed & ISA mechanics, HMRC real-time reporting service and explicit YMYL signpost to ICAEW/CIOT for advice.
Freetrade affiliate link removed
/freetrade-review/, /resources/, /best-investment-apps-uk/ — Freetrade's referral programme T&Cs ban public promotion on comparison sites. All site references to the Freetrade referral link have been removed. The /go/freetrade/ cloaked URL has been deleted. Freetrade sign-up links now point directly to freetrade.io with no affiliate wrapper and are clearly labelled "we don't earn a commission on Freetrade sign-ups".
How we handle corrections
- Fix the content. We update the affected page immediately.
- Log the correction here. Date, page, what was wrong, what changed.
- If material, flag at the top of the affected page for at least 30 days so returning readers see the correction.
- If we told you something that led to a decision, we take that seriously. Email us and we'll investigate.
We'd rather publish fewer pages that stay accurate than a lot of pages that quietly rot. If you spot anything questionable, please tell us.
